Disneyland and California Adventure

The week after school got out we packed up the car and headed to California for a week. We started our trip by heading to Disneyland where we spent one day at Disneyland and another day at California Adventure. The first day I had a horrible head ache, but I tried my best to buck up for the kids. I rode all the roller coasters trying not to move my head. Not an easy task. I just about puked on Space Mountain. Just about cried on Thunder Mountain. Just about lost it mentally on the Matterhorn. Braced myself on Indiana Jones... But, I did it all and the kids didn't even realize. What a trooper I must be.
The second day at California Adventure I felt a lot better. We really enjoyed Soaring over California. Miles was determined to go on the Tower of Terror. I will admit I did not want to ride it. We ended up doing it and I loved it. Carter on the other hand may be traumatized for life.

Carter still has quite the love for the monorail. He was so excited to ride it again.

Waiting for the train.

In line for the Matterhorn. The boys really liked that ride. It was really fun to go with the boys at this age. They were both tall enough for just about everything.

Outside the Lego store in Downtown Disneyland.

A winner as always. I think I went on that ride 3 times in one day.

Awwww... my handsome boys.

After an hour wait or so we are finally so close to getting on Toy Story Mania. It was a fun ride. You play carnival games on the ride. After waiting that long, the cart Miles and I were in didn't work half the time. Our guns wouldn't shoot anything. Luckily I mentioned it when I got off and they handed us 4 straight to the front of the line tickets so we got to do it again.

The Tower of Terror. Not the best picture, but it makes me laugh. I am in the back, center. Carter is next to me looking completely terrified. Quinn and Miles are just enjoying the ride.

Carter and I watching the Pixar parade. We have a love for Pixar in our home and the parade did not disappoint. Miles even got a high five from someone in the parade.

Lightning McQueen and Mater!?! How awesome is that. I'm telling you, some of these places now exactly what to produce to hit the parents hard in the pocket book. When your kid loves something....

Jessie and Woody. You gotta love 'em. They were fun and we were lucky to get pictures with them. They are a hot commodity right now. This was the week before the movie came out which just made us more excited for the movie (which was another thing by Pixar that did not disappoint).
