Legoland

We spent a day at Legoland in Carlsbad, California. I am glad we went but I don't think it is somewhere we will go again soon, if ever. As we were going in they were offering $100 gift cards if you would go to their time share offer. It is Legoland and Quinn has a thing for Legos and I have a thing for cheap/free stuff so we took it. More about that later.

Thomas.... He was a favorite of both of them. They still play with the trains, but the love is not the same. They are growing up.

Miles looks as though he is taking the "driving" very seriously and I just look way to big for the ride.

Of course no trip is complete without rubber duckie and some pictures of him.

Miles thought this was so exciting. Mom! Mom! Mom!! I turn and look. I'm in the sharks mouth! Hahahahahaha!

Monkey see, monkey do.

So many times I have wanted my children in this position. I probably looked like that too as I was about to punish my children.

The Legoland version of the Teacups. I am absent on those rides. I can no longer handle them without needing oxygen and some sort of medical treatment afterwards.

Now Carter is a serious driver (those you did actually steer) and Quinn looks too big for the ride.

We did have a fun day at Legoland. My beef with them is that their hours are shorter. They close at 6:00! That's crazy. The Clutch Powers in 4D was really good. It just seemed like it needed some updating and care of the grounds. For the price of admission they should be able to do a little bit. Dust all the lego statues or something. Also if anyone is considering going, it is great for younger children. I really didn't see any kids over the age of 12. It was all younger kids and families.

The next day we went back for the time share presentation. They had an area for the kids and we went and listened to how wonderful and fabulous our lives would be if we signed up for this once in a lifetime opportunity. We said no. No?!? Cried the salesmen? How could you pass on something like this? I loved the questions aimed to guilt you. Your kids won't remember what they got for Christmas but they will remember the vacations you took here. Ok. Still no. So you will never go on vacation again? I'm sure we will vacation again. We were able to manage this one without you. Fine then. I can see you don't want happiness in your family (not those exacts words, but eluding to it). Thank you, can I go now? I have learned to not feel guilty at those things. We did decide the 90 minutes was worth the $100 gift card. Have you met Quinn?
